Finals Day Coach Masterclass

World Schools Debating League are pleased to invite you to join us for a special Coach Masterclass at the Grand Finals of WSDL Spring 2023!
Registered and paid participants will join WSDC 2023 Deputy Chief Adjudicator Vladimira Šuflaj for a 2-hour learning experience centered around the Open Grand Final of this semester's tournament. Break down the topic with the coach during Prep time, watch the Finals, and then take part in a 30-minute interactive debriefing and discussion afterwards.

Coach Masterclass Registration: USD $20 per student.
Coach Masterclass Details:
- Before: Interactive Prep Time with coach. Break down the motion immediately after it's been released. Discuss the key context, clashes and potential cases for both sides. (30 mins)
- During: Watchalong with private Group Chat. During the debate, watch and take notes on each speech. Share your reactions in a WhatsApp chat with coach and other students. (60 mins)
- After: Post-debate Debrief. Discuss how you thought the debate went, and hear the coach's assessment of the final. Be prepared to share your evaluation of the performance of both teams - and pick a winner! (30 mins)

Free Observer Option: Students, teachers or parents not participating in WSDL this season, but who wish to observe instead of participating in the paid Coach Masterclass, are of course very welcome to do so free of charge - simply let us know your email via this form and you will receive the Zoom link for Finals Day.
All current (Spring 2023) WSDL participants will automatically receive the Finals Day Zoom link from us beforehand.
